I'm Troy Cashion and TCSports1 is my first venture in creating, organizing, and managing my own website. When I took the microphone for the first time in 1997, I had no idea this journey would lead me here. I began my broadcasting career with MCTV in Lewisburg covering Marshall County Tiger Football. After that, it was a truly memorable stint at WAXO Radio and TV broadcasting for and along side the late great Bob Smartt, who was truly as great a mentor and friend as anyone could have. After a year off in 2016, I have been blessed with the privilege of being involved with broadcasting Forrest Sports on Tennessee Sports Net.

It has been a scary, exhilarating, and gratifying experience thus far. I certainly appreciate all the kind words and support for this venture. Those kind words and a few reassuring nudges gave me the courage to try and pull this off. With my friends, family, and partners, we certainly hope to bring you a website that can inform, entertain, and interact with you. Most of all, I want to try to carry on the legacy of my great friend and mentor Bob Smartt who continues to impact us daily 10 years after his passing. I've made many great friends and had the privilege of calling many exciting moments and my hope is this website will provide you a fraction of the joy that I feel in getting to be a small part of each of your lives.
