Forrest Rocket All Region RB/DB Tayton Swift announced his collegiate choice of the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles in front of friends, family, coaches, and teammates in a ceremony held in the Forrest High School gymnasium. Swift who amassed 2,652 yards rushing and 21 rushing scores in his Rocket career had a great individual season in his senior campaign in which he rushed for 952 yards and 5 rushing TD's despite battling numerous injuries. On the defensive side of the ball, he was the 2021 Region 5 Defensive Back of the Year, had 9  career interceptions, and 26 pass breakups. He was a tremendous student as well sporting a 4.3 weighted GPA and served as his class president in each of his four years. He will pursue an engineering degree upon his arrival in Cookeville
