United Communications has been in the Chapel Hill area for over 75 years and has supported Forrest athletics generously throughout that time. Their commitment continued as they have agreed to be a title sponsor for postseason play on TCSports1. Due to postseason video broadcast fees imposed by the TSSAA ($250 per tournament game for baseball, basketball, and softball and a whopping $750 per game for football), it is increasingly difficult to cover these fees. TCSports1 strives to remain a free broadcast site and United Communications generous donation helps to cover a number of these broadcasts. A number of things have changed since United Communications began their operations in Chapel Hill, but their commitment to remain a vital member of the Chapel Hill community through projects to support local youth remains constant.
