Forrest 35, Watertown 28

The Forrest Rockets(7-3,3-2) closed out the regular season with another road win as thery defeated the Watertown Purple Tigers (5-5,3-2) by a score of 35-28. After Watertown recovered an onside kick to start the game, the Forrest defense stopped them on four downs and gave it back to the offense, who scored touchdowns on their next five possessions to build a lead they would not relinquish. However, it did take a late defensive stop to secure the victory, sealing a third place region finish and a trip to Chattanooga Prep on Friday for a first round matchup. Quincy Mitchell led the offense with 247 yards and 3 TD's but got plenty of help from Micah Morgan who had 126 yards on thre ground and two scores.
